Songwriting

Combining poetry and music, songwriting can be one of the most intimate personal forms of expression. As such, a lack of experience can be isolating and lead to disillusionment. The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music’s staff are skilled in teaching the concepts and skills that can help people progress at their songwriting craft, while giving them mentorship, support, and experience to become some of the best. Songwriting showcases, “Access to Superstars” events, and a community of musicians and willing music participants make The DSRP’s program second to none.
