Wednesday, June 24th, 2009DSRP Faculty Band Rocks the IT World
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

The faculty of the DSRP not only teaches about playing music, they actually go out and do it!
This spring we got a request from our good friends at Triple Z Music from Brooklyn, New York to help produce the music for a big international sales meeting for Compuware. Compuware “…make’s IT rock around the world” and the DSRP faculty band was the logical choice to make their meeting a rocking success.
The band was asked to help prepare custom versions of about 30-40 songs of which about a couple of dozen were used. A day was spent rehearsing in the DSRP studio, a day was spent on technical rehearsals with the production crew, and there were two different “show days.” They performed shows for the sales meetings, one at the Music Hall theater and the other at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. The team producing the event included top notch production crew from all over the country. The sound crew was from the Metallica tour!
Our thanks to Paul and Mary Ellen at Triple Z Music, the team at MJM Creative, and Compuware for having us be a part of such an awesome show!
