THE DETROIT SCHOOL OF ROCK AND POP MUSIC® OFFERS:

STUDENT BAND PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
(Tuition Based)

  • Weekly Rehearsals – Practice with producers to hone your performance chops in your very own rock and pop band.
  • Weekly Private Music Mentorship – Meetings weekly to help with the technical aspects of learning that tough riff or passage for your rock band practice.

ADULT BAND PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
(Tuition Based)

  • Weekly Rehearsals – Rehearse to get those buddies you jam with from the office up to snuff for the employee party. Producers will hone the show with valuable insight and direction. Got originals you want to produce for the world? Practice with a producer, then go into the studio and create your rock and roll masterpiece. Then book a show and rock!
  • Weekly Private Music Mentorship – Meetings with a private music mentor will help you save face at the next rehearsal when your band mates expect you to not screw up that guitar solo.

WORSHIP BAND PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
(Tuition Based)

  • Weekly Worship Band Rehearsals – Rehearse your worship band with a private third party producer who can hone your chops and help to ensure everyone is bringing their best on Sunday morning.

PRIVATE MUSIC MENTORSHIPS:
(Tuition Based)

  • Private Music Mentorship – Meet with a private music mentor to get your basic skills together so that you can go rock out with one of the bands!

RECORDING STUDIO:
(Hourly and Daily Rates)

  • Studio Rentals – Produce all those great songs you and your buddies wrote during lunch last week.
  • Engineers – Work with one of our engineers to get the tones and sounds you were hearing in your head.
  • Producers – Having a little trouble steering your band in a cohesive direction? Maybe it’s time to enlist the advice and experience of a pro to help take your band from the garage to the stage and beyond.

RECORDING CLASSES:
(Tuition Based)

  • Weekly Studio Classes – Classes for when you purchase home studio software but don’t know how to make stuff sound good.
  • Weekly Private Technical Mentorship – Meetings to learn the technical and artistic aspects of how to engineer and produce a project to perfection.

LIVE SOUND/PRODUCTION/LIGHTING CLASSES:
(Tuition Based)

  • Weekly Production Classes and Events – Learn how to get a PA system up and running perfectly, the lights glowing, and stage manage with the best of them.

INTERNSHIPS:

  • Learn from the Pros – Get hands-on experience from pros in your field of study. See how the process works from the inside. Whether it’s going on the road with a band or producing sessions in the recording studio, you’ll gain valuable insight and knowledge from the people that do it.

FACILITIES:

  • Concert facilities – Put on that show for all of your fans.
  • Equipment Rentals and Production Services – When you go on tour, need tour support and help with all that technical and logistical stuff call us.
  • Rehearsal Space – We’ve got space to practice for that upcoming studio session or concert tour and the flaming gong is too big to carry up and down the basement stairs.

  • In addition to the weekly rehearsals and private mentorships, we also hold classes, jam sessions, clinics and workshops.
